With over 20 years’ experience at the forefront of delivering outstanding teaching and student care in leading UK Senior Schools, Dr Charlotte Exon is eminently qualified and experienced to offer a highly bespoke and expert service for maximising success in obtaining scholarships.
Charlotte and her team have designed and advised on scholarship processes from setting the questions and tests, conducting the interviews, taking auditions and making final scholarship decisions. Their extensive network of contacts across the UK places Scholarship Ready in an excellent position.
Charlotte has a reputation for transforming young lives in education latterly at Downe House School in Berkshire. Here she enjoyed 12 years as Director of Music and Senior Teacher at one of the UK's most prestigious boarding schools. Previous to Downe House, Charlotte was the Director of Music at Westonbirt School where under her leadership, music truly became the heart of the School.

Charlotte has a strong reputation of student success. She knows what it looks like and how to achieve it. Her students have a 100% success in being awarded Oxbridge choral and organ scholarships. Recent students have taken up places at Merton, Queen’s, Trinity, Lady Margaret Hall and Somerville Colleges, Oxford and Magdalene and Homerton Colleges, Cambridge.
Charlotte has a proven track record of students taking up places at Russell Group Universities as well as at conservatoires and American Universities, including scholarships to Birmingham Conservatoire and Berklee School of Music, Boston.
Furthermore, Charlotte is a gifted conductor and conducts 'with her usual wit and style' (Opera). Indeed, she is a multiple Choir of the Year winner. Her choirs have won Barnardo’s National Choir of the Year not only once, but twice which has never been done before or since. She is now an adviser for the competition and is much in demand as an adjudicator.
